ANOTHER PLACE

A bleak spring bank holiday weekend but the rain stopped for a short while for this visit to Crosby to see Anthony Gormley's statues on a cold and blustery beach.
Called another place it features 100 life size nude iron statues scattered along a three mile area and is a cast of the artist's own body.
The exibition was due to depart at the end of last year but local councillors voted back in March to keep them permenantly as they have attracted a large increase in visitors to the area.
